First of all, my baby is 2!! How can this be?? We are in shock but we are loving it, most of the time. He is such a busy boy but very social. He loves to tell people hi and talk their ears off. I wonder where he got that from?
He had a wonderful birthday party with his grandparents here visiting, except my father but he will be up in October. He had such a great time with all of the people that he loves. That next week he started back at daycare and they keep telling me how happy they are to have him back. He jumped right into the routine and is loving it. Sometimes, he does not even want to go home.
School started for Rob and I this last week. Rob's schedule changed at the last moment and that flipped him out a bit. He is now teaching the 6th grade choir kids who are stuck together for all of their subjects. He is teaching AP math and science and general ed math and science. The crazy thing is that there are 42 girls and 2 boys all together. I have started my classes of kindergartens and am loving it. Once I have them trained, it will be even better. There is a lot of promise.
So, for the big news. I am 11 weeks pregnant. We are very excited. Peter has been spending lots of time with my friend's baby but has some jealousy issues, which is to be expected. He is always pointing out baby pictures though. We have already had a ultrasound to find out the due date and I am due March 29. That is the first day of Spring Break and our guess on when Rob's Blaine Math Competition is. His teaching partner has offered to go. He will be there except if I am in labor. I know how important the competition is to him. Plus, he has a whole group of students who already want to get Math Club going so they can get working. He is very excited about it.
Once last thing is that we bought Peter's Halloween costume today. It was so funny. I have been wanting to get him a doggy costume because he likes to pant like a dog and bark. Instead, at Old Navy, we found a monkey costume and a lion costume. I asked him which one he wanted to be and he told me "lion". I asked for clarification by making the animal sounds and he responded with a "roar," so we bought the costume. He had a rough time trying it on at first but when Daddy was home later, he loved it. Check out some of the pictures.
